Cancellation Policy
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
To ensure fairness to all families and to protect scheduled clinical time, the following cancellation policy applies to all appointments.
Notice Period
A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Appointments cancelled or changed with less than 24 hours' notice are fully chargeable, as the session time cannot be reallocated at short notice.
Same-Day Cancellations
Appointments cancelled or rescheduled on the day of the session, including due to illness, are treated as late cancellations and are charged in full.
Illness
If a child is unwell, they should not attend their session for health and safety reasons. While illness is understandable, the cancellation and notice requirements still apply.
No-Shows
Failure to attend an appointment without notice will be charged in full.
Practitioner Cancellations
If I need to cancel a session due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, families will not be charged, and the session will be rescheduled where possible. Practitioner cancellations are handled separately and are not comparable to client cancellations.
Repeated Late Cancellations
Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in a review of ongoing appointment availability.
By booking sessions, families acknowledge and agree to this policy.
